The Challenge: Skanska contacted JPC halfway through the bid process for 20 Ropemaker Street to help them create new advantage: to stand out from the crowd, improve their hit rate and handle the creative response while they focused on the technical.

Our Solution: Against very tight deadlines, we deployed our bid and creative teams. Thanks to deep construction sector experience and our rapid insight and immersion process, we developed a visionary winning formula consistent with the end client’s needs and Skanska’s brand, yet dramatically more aspirational than all competing bidders.

The Result:

  • Skanska won all the lots that they bid for
  • They were formally informed that their response resonated more effectively than any other proposal submitted, both for in terms of response, content and creative personalisation
  • Skanska has an aggressive yet optimistic challenger positioning and bid identity which can be carried through to future bids
